Fabric markers: 24 washable ones included, and a permanent option

The 24 washable markers in the box

Every blanket includes 24 fabric markers in 24 colors, made with water-based ink. According to the manufacturer, the ink washes out in a regular machine wash. That is what makes the blanket reusable: you color, you wash, the design is ready again.

Permanent fabric markers: keep your artwork

The manufacturer describes these markers as permanent and waterproof. They are made for the opposite of the washable set: colors that stay on the fabric. Choose them when you want to keep a finished blanket as it is, for a child's first one or a gift you colored yourself.

Why they are not a refill

A refill would let you keep coloring and washing. Permanent ink does not do that: once a section is colored with it, do not count on it washing out. If you want to color the blanket again after a wash, use the washable markers in the box. We do not sell a refill of the washable set at the moment.

How the price works

The option adds $9.99 for each blanket that includes it, so a blanket with permanent markers costs $49.98. If you raise the quantity, each blanket gets its own permanent set. To mix, add blankets with and without the option separately.

The permanent markers come from a different supplier than the blanket, so they may arrive in a separate package.

Can you use both on one blanket?

You can, but plan it. Areas colored with permanent markers should not be expected to wash out with the rest. Keep both sets in separate pouches so nobody grabs the wrong one during a shared project.

What about markers you already have?
