Coloring blanket for kids: playful designs, 24 markers, washable
Spread it on the floor, hand out the markers and give everyone a corner. Fruit Market, Little Monsters and Cat and Mouse have shapes kids recognize right away. The 24 washable markers are in the box, and according to the manufacturer, the ink washes out in a regular machine wash.
Per blanket, 24 markers included: $39.99

What age is it for?
The manufacturer does not give a minimum age, and we will not make one up. We sell the blanket for adults and families. With children, an adult should be there whenever the markers are out.
Are the markers safe for children?
We have no safety certification from the manufacturer for the markers or the blanket, so we make no safety claim. What we can tell you: 24 colors, water-based ink, washable according to the manufacturer. Keep an adult nearby and the caps out of reach of little ones.
Designs kids get right away
Pick a picture they can name. These are the easiest to start with:
- Fruit Market: pineapples, bananas, watermelon slices, grapes.
- Little Monsters: big eyes, teeth and stripes, and no wrong colors.
- Cat and Mouse: cats and mice cooking in a busy kitchen.
Rainy-day ideas on one blanket
A blanket this size works better as a shared game than as a one-child task. A few ways to play:
- Seek and color: call out an object, and the first to find it colors it.
- One color each: everyone gets three markers and trades when they want a new one.
- Tell the story: in Cat and Mouse, decide what each mouse is cooking, then color it.
- Corners: split the blanket into four zones and compare at dinner.
Siblings: one blanket each, or one to share?
Sharing works with a plan: give each child a zone. If they would rather have their own, set the quantity in your cart; each blanket comes with its own 24 markers, and you can pick a different design for each child.
Marker on hands, the table or clothes
The manufacturer's washing statement is about the blanket. It says nothing about tables, sofas or clothes, so put an old sheet underneath and roll up sleeves. Our washing guide covers what we know about the blanket itself.
Questions from parents
From what age?
The manufacturer gives no minimum age. We sell it for adults and families, and children should color with an adult nearby.
Can kids and adults color it together?
Yes, that is how it works best. At about 59 x 50 inches, there is room for several people around one blanket.
Can it go in the washing machine?
Yes. According to the manufacturer, the ink washes out in a regular machine wash, and the design is ready to color again.
What if they use other markers on it?
Other markers may not wash out the same way, and we have not tested any. Keep the 24 included markers apart from the rest of the craft box.
