We have not timed it, and the honest answer depends on you. A dense design like Garden Blooms has far more small shapes than Fruit Market, and filling every background area takes longer than coloring the objects alone.
Plan on several evenings, not one. You do not have to fill every shape: leaving parts white on purpose is a look of its own.
Is a coloring blanket worth it for an adult?
It is worth it if you enjoy slow, repetitive handwork, want an activity for the couch that is not a screen, and like the idea of washing it and starting over. The markers are included, so the $39.99 covers everything you need to begin.
It is not the right pick if you want a blanket mainly for warmth on a full-size bed: at about 59 x 50 inches, it is a throw. It is also not for you if you want to draw your own picture, since the line art is already printed.
Color it again, or keep it?
According to the manufacturer, the ink of the included markers washes out in a regular machine wash, so you can recolor the same design with a new palette. If you finish one you love, the permanent fabric markers option is made for colors that stay.
